Where It All Began

I wanted to share the journey to get to where I am today. I"ll be sharing some photos of my older soaps I used to make before Flawless was Flawless including melt & pour soaps I thought I was killing it at lol

Flawless began many years before it was launched to the public. Days spent binge watching Youtube and trying to find my "niche" in the soap/skincare realm. I started off mixing concoctions in my bedroom hoping for a miracle. I would then become my own guinea pig using all my concoctions on my face.

I remember when I had a friend come over to my house and she opened my closet door in shock only to find tons of ingredients and products everywhere and said it looked like I had a beauty supply store up in there lol. I was experimenting with soo many natural ingredients trying to whip things up together hoping to make an incredible product for my face. Using all types of oils I had no idea which oil was right for my skin or not. I used a lot of raw honey which was my go to product using it in almost everything (still do)!

I remember after that incident in February 2014 (read previous blog for more info), I would buy soap books and try mixing different herbs and natural ingredients together trying to make soap from scratch. In 2016, I started to take things seriously with cold process soap making. It's incredible looking back at all my soaps and seeing how far I have come. (Check out some of my creations from the past below)

In 2019, my mom asked me to give out soap favors for my grandmother's 80th birthday party. This was around the time I was figuring out my product line for my cold process soaps before launching my website and brand to the public in November 2019. This was Flawless first debut below!
All in all, you can see starting a business from the ground up is definitely a journey but it is truly amazing to see how far I have come from the beginning. Looking back at these photos gives me even more motivation to go harder and to dream even bigger. I hope this encourages you to keep going. Don't give up on your dreams. Embrace the journey. Each chapter of your journey has a beautiful lesson for you. You're almost there!

Jesus looked at them and said, "With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible". - Matthew 19:26
